| Can I change my user name and/or password? No. Your teacher has set up your account for you so any changes to your account information must be done by the teacher. Back to Top |
| What do I do if the page shows my name, school, or teacher incorrectly? Let your teacher know about the incorrect infomation. Your teacher has the ability to change this information. Back to Top |
| I often see a pop up prompt that says “this page contains both secure and nonsecure items. Do you want to display the nonsecure items?" What is it and how do I stop this from popping up? This prompt is a feature in your browser’s security settings. Changing this setting should be similar in all browsers. Here are the instructions for Internet Explorer. Click on Tools in the top menu bar and choose Internet Options. Click on the Security Tab then click the Custom Level button. Scroll down the list of options. Under the Miscellaneous heading you should see Display Mixed Content. Choose the option Enable under Display Mixed Content and hit OK. It should prompt you with a Warning stating “Are you sure you want to change the security settings for this zone?” Choose Yes. Click OK in the Internet Options window to close the window. | How do I set up student accounts? Click on the MY CLASSROOM icon and under the Student Accounts section you will see a link named Add a Student. Simply click this link and input the student's name, user name, and password. The Student Accounts section also allows you to view a list of students, edit student accounts, and delete a student. | Can my students change their passwords? No. As the teacher only you have access to change your student's account information. This is one by clicking on the MY CLASSROOM icon and using the Student Accounts section. Back to Top |
| How can I edit a game I already created? Click on the MY LESSON PLANS icon and you will see a listing of the games you have created. Simply click on the name of the game to open the form you originally completed. Make the changes you want and resave the game by clicking Submit. Back to Top |
| What is MY WHITE BOARD? MY WHITE BOARD is the area of the Fun2Study application where you, the teacher, can set up the page that your students will arrive at when they log in. The MY WHITE BOARD page will contain the links to the games you have created along with any messages you would like to add and links to web sites that you would like to recommend to your students for additional study. The first step is to choose the type of game you want to create. If you do not want to start from scratch, you can use the "ready-to-play" games or the games "shared" by other Fun2Study teachers.
